The Hand-Bent Straight Cyclone Duplex Shooter for the Z900RS/Z900RS CAFE is a road-legal muffler that brings the latest know-how to styling that carries on Yoshimura's traditional image. Every stage of this fully hand-made Cyclone, from cutting and bending to welding, draws on Yoshimura's expertise, and skilled craftsmen finish each one to high precision. Steel is used from the exhaust pipes to the collector with stainless steel for the tail pipe and internals.

A newly designed sub-silencer, whose structure and outlet were refined through extensive testing, optimises exhaust efficiency to greatly increase peak power while keeping the standard exhaust's easy low-speed manners. Carefully chosen pipe lengths and a 4-2-1 internal layout give mid-range tractability, and weight is reduced by about 23% (STD: 12 kg, Yoshimura Cyclone: 9.6 kg). Beautiful hand-bent lines create a distinctive sense of volume, the pipe layout ahead of the collector preserves lean angle, and a fatter tail pipe suits modern bike design.
