The Machine-Bent Straight Cyclone Duplex Shooter for the Z900RS/Z900RS CAFE is a road-legal muffler that carries on Yoshimura's traditional style with modern know-how. Stainless steel is used for all pipework, including the exhaust pipes, for improved corrosion resistance.

Its key feature, the sub-silencer, optimises exhaust efficiency, keeping the standard exhaust's easy low-speed manners while allowing linear throttle response all the way to peak power. Optimised pipe lengths and a 4-2-1 internal layout give mid-range tractability, and weight is reduced by about 23% (STD: 12 kg, Yoshimura Cyclone: 9.6 kg). Machine-bent pipes give a strong, powerful look distinct from the elegance of the hand-bent version, the pipe layout ahead of the collector preserves lean angle, and a fatter tail pipe suits modern bike design.
