Exciting just to look at. Yoshimura's Machine-Bent Straight Cyclone brings out new appeal in the Monkey125. The black-painted Straight Cyclone evokes traditional styling while incorporating the latest technology throughout for a modern machine.

While meeting strict muffler regulations, output exceeds the standard muffler across the whole range with a strong torque feel from the moment you open the throttle for better acceleration from a standstill. A substantial gain in power and torque from 5,000 rpm to peak, combined with a stronger engine pulse, gives the character unique to a Straight Cyclone. The exhaust sound has more bass than standard with just the Right amount of punch, at a volume that stays pleasant on the move. At just 1.9 kg against the standard 5.0 kg, it is approximately 60% lighter, and together with the lower centre of gravity from the down-type layout it delivers a lighter riding feel. The muffler body is stainless steel for high durability and corrosion resistance, and the black finish uses a special heat-resistant paint that is more durable than conventional coatings.
