The 4.5 Chest Protector is CE tested andcertified as impact protection for the chest back and flank areas. Itsports a 3D multi-layer and multi-plate articulating design that ensures agood comfortable fit. What makes it so effective as a chest protector isthe use of 3DF AirFit ventilated soft impact foam.

Even thoughit conforms to your body's shape it transforms into a hard energy-absorbing protector upon impact. The hard-shell areas are made ofhigh-density polyethylene (HDPE) for high impact or stonedeflection.

The 4.5 Chest Protector scores a total of 12 pointsin the Leatt protection system. For a slightly higher level of protection consider the 4.5 Pro Chest Protector which scores 17points.
