The height increasing element is attached between the top ring and the guide rail. If necessary, the position of the tank bag on the tank can be raised by 6 millimeters.

Without these spacers I would not have been able to fit my SW-Motech Pro City tank bag to the new BMW R1300RT. I needed to raise the bag 24mm to clear the lid of the phone cubby on the front of the tank. I used 4 X 6mm spacers along with the extra length screws from the 18mm pack. Perfect. My telephone enquiry with RPM & then order for this product was dealt with professionally and efficiently unliked other m/c accessory businesses I’ve had to deal with. Thank you to SW-Motech & RPM.
