Polaris Sportsman 700s manufactured between 2002 and mid-2004 areplagued with recurring electrical problems. The failure of thestarting system was not a matter of IF but of WHEN it wouldoccur.

The main problem with this reliable vehicle was ACstarting. Unfortunately the cost of replacing the AC starter unitwith a genuine Polaris DC starter unit was over $ 500 and was the onlyoption.

Our new starter kit now converts the failing AC startingsystem to a highly reliable DC system for half the price of the originalkit.
